Work in Progress Wednesday

If your looking for my giveaway, click here.

On my sewing table this week....

....nothing but my hourglass quilt.

Doesn't it look happy?  It puts a smile on my face every time I look at it.  The best part, other than the white all the fabric is from my stash.  Talk about stash busting.  Not sure if I am going to add a border or not.  What do you think?

Here are all my leftovers including a couple of blocks. I think I am going to try to piece together something for the back.

Have a great week!  Linking up to Freshly Pieced, Work in Progress Wednesday.

  2. I don't think I would put a border on your wonderful hourglass quilt. But on second thought, maybe a small white border with a wider scrappy strip type border on the outside would look good, too. Can't wait to see what you decide :)

  3. This is beautiful! I love how bright and cheerful it is. You don't need a border--it can definitely hold it's own!

  4. Love this! I have seen several hour glass quilts lately and am itching to dig through my scraps and give it a try too!
It makes me smile too--I don't think a border is necessary unless you are looking add to the size!

  10. i agree, super cheery and bright. And love that you went to the stash for the fabric! it looks good now, but a simple white boarder would set it off nice too ;)

  13. Love your quilt. Hm not sure I would put a border on it, it looks great the way it is. I love using up my stash, I need to do a lot more of it and stop buying fabric but there is so much out there new that is so very nice.
